ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sherry Freyermuth

Sherry Freyermuth is a published, award-winning graphic designer with experience working for large corporate brands and non-profit initiatives. Born and raised in Southeastern Massachusetts, she received a BFA from Emmanuel College and an MFA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. She currently is an Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Clark University in Worcester, MA. She has received the honor of being a Lamar University Presidential Fellow to create new courses in design thinking and user experience design, which included a student trip to Austin, TX to complete a design thinking workshop at the IBM offices. Sherry’s current research focuses on professional development and creative teamwork for emerging designers.
